NetApp’s regional leadership needed a consistent way to unite offices across Asia Pacific for their quarterly town halls. With employees spread from Singapore to Sydney, Tokyo and Bangalore, the challenge was to deliver a reliable live experience that looked and sounded identical in every market. No glitches, no missed cues, and no distance between leadership and their teams. The goal was connection, not just communication, and they turned to Now Comms Asia to make it happen.

Our Mission

Our mission was to give NetApp a broadcast-quality platform that felt personal. The town halls needed to run with the polish of a TV show but the warmth of a team meeting. We set out to remove the usual technical friction, streamline the flow and ensure that every message landed clearly, wherever the audience was joining from. Above all, we wanted the experience to reflect NetApp’s own values of reliability, precision and teamwork.

Approach

Our kinda different approach combines broadcast discipline with human connection. Based in Singapore, we managed full production design, audio-visual control and live streaming to multiple regional offices.

Our show-caller Jarvis led rehearsals and ran the floor like a television control room, making real-time adjustments and coordinating between presenters, technicians and remote sites. Every cue, transition and slide change was tested, timed and backed up.

We built redundancy into the system so that even with regional bandwidth variations, the stream remained seamless. We also focused on stagecraft and presentation coaching, helping speakers deliver with clarity and confidence. This wasn’t just a webcast; it was a show designed to hold attention.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED 

Each town hall went live without interruption and closed on time, every time. The sound was clear, the visuals crisp and the audience engaged from start to finish. Leadership feedback highlighted how professional and consistent the broadcasts felt, while employees across APAC reported that they finally felt part of the same conversation.

With multiple successful editions now completed, the partnership has become a model for how regional communication can feel personal even at scale. For NetApp, it proved that when production precision meets genuine intent, the result is connection that lasts. For Now Comms Asia, it was another demonstration of Motivation over Medium in action.
